My Childhood Days

Actually, I wouldn't want to show only the childhood itself but my real world as well.

Birth to Childhood

Born to Alejandro Colaba Manapat and Anita Alejandro dela Cruz on February 25, 1990 at Chinese General Hospital, Ma. Anna Katrina Manapat is a little brat because her parents spoiled her too much. She's intelligent yet VERY MISCHEVIOUS.

She enrolled at pre-school summer class just right in front of their house. (Her mother's cousin used to be a teacher.) Then, she studied her formal preschool at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Academy. She graduated as a salutatorian though she had several mischievous accounts there.

Eventually, she transferred to St. James Academy, because at that time, grade school was still not available on her previous academy.

Second Home

A child's second home is the school. For Katrina, it's not.

Her parents were members of the Catholic Youth Movement (CYM) Choir. Her mother was an alto; her dad was a choirmaster. In fact, their love flourished in the said organization. They were really active members there. No wonder, this became Katrina's second home.

Katrina is also a part of the CYM Choir. She treats her co-choir members really as her own family namely: Tita Susan (her best friend's mother), Tito Rio (Tita Susan's husband, father of her best friend), Ninang Lanie (her mother's best friend), Ninong Ed, Tita Malou, Tita Neneth, Kuya Auggie, Ate Thina, Tito Paul, Ate Sheila, Kuya Dek,  Kuya Oneng, Kuya Gem, Kuya Eugene, Ancho, Wiwi, An-An, Ate Let-Let, Kristel and so on and so forth.

Here are some of the pictures of my second family:

Best Friends for Life

Count on me through thick and thin, a friendship that would never end....

Let me first revert my narration in first person. (After all, this is an informal set-up) I would just like to give a little tribute to my one and only best friend, Susy.

If there's one person who surely deserves all my sacrifices as a friend, it's none other than her. She has sacrificed a lot for me. I know that because I can see that in all the things that she do. We've been in many tribulations, but she's still there holding on. She knows the value of 'first come first serve', and 'what is for you, is for you'. The years we've journeyed along, the sacrifices that we made, and the friendship we always cherish only proves one thing: No one can seperate us till the end. I love my best friend. No damn, stupid, apathetic lover or crush can replace her!

So for those of you who plan to ruin our friendship... be careful... You may end up saying..."Sinira niyo ang buhay ko!" (We're partners in lots of crimes already, you know!)

(For my best friend: Weee....flattered na yan!)
